Cutting costs at employees' expense

Vallejo, CA (US)

Current Employee – been working at Six Flags part-time for more than a year

ProsFlexible work schedule and not much more.

ConsSeasonal work, meager pay, infighting, strong nepotism. This company hesitates to fire anyone who isn't a seasonal employee. The divide between seasonal and full time is so great it affects the company creating an us vs. them attitude.

Advice to Senior ManagementIf you want to acquire and retain quality employee's you need to pay for them. Your pay structure is horrid and your leadership weak and ineffective. Your company is full of people who never left so you promote them because of tenure.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
