I have been working at Schneider Electric full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Multinational company, Leader in its industry, flexible working time

    Cons

The development strategy of the company is based on acquisitions but, once the new company is on board, the integration is not managed, with redundant managers and overlapping responsibilities.
Lack of clear long-term plans, sloppy management, too many procedures that make working there too slow and not effective at all
Too much politics with only a few decision makers: ridiculous number of meetings without any outcome.

I worked at Schneider Electric full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Has a great product portfolio within the Low Voltage and Extra Low Voltage category offering the chance to gain lots of knowledge about the businesses.
    Good work/life balance

    Cons

-Most of the current products that Schneider has under it came through acquistions and a problem with such a large number of take-overs is redundancy, lack of integration with different product divisions and confusion as to how to sell some of the products. Add to that, Schneider's current approach of solution sales is not clear and has not picked up which is hurting its product sales.
-Schneider Gulf has a very high turnover rate of employees which is never a good indicator of a company or its HR
-A change in top-level management and organization structure every year. This has a de-stabilizing effect on its employees due to the fact that you will again have to get used to a new management (and just when you are getting comfortable with how things were running) and are worried about your job security. Which has led to many great talent pool within Schneider leaving the company over the years and joing competitiors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

-Decrease the number of acquisitions and focus on how to strenghten the current product divisions
-Clear management goals and organization structure that is fixed for atleast a few years without jumping the gun when things dont go as planned within the first year.
    -Retaining talents

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
