Pros

Good benefits.
You can work from home in most departments.
Fun employee activities.
Nice Cafeteria.
Great headquarters facility.
Charity work.
Starbucks onsite.
Casual dress code.

Cons

Flex space. If you don't get there early, you might not have a place to work. Very few individuals have assigned cubicles.
Parking. If you don't arrive by 9am, you might have to park on the street.
Middle management sucks. There are a lot of supervisors/middle management who have made their way into a management role just by working there forever and finally being promoted. Many aren't qualified and have terrible people skills. It feels like high school all over again.
Location. Southlake is a long commute. There isn't affordable housing nearby and the traffic in Southlake can be unbearable.

    Pros

Great work-life balance and a nice place to grow. Small company therefore very employee friendly and lot of activities to stimulate and keep you interested.

    Cons

You don't learn much! If you want a cushy job with no personal growth to pursue - this is the place for you.

Hospitality unit in rapid growth mode. Most work groups stretched to the max with heavy workloads.

    Pros

Company as a whole is good place to work. Products are cutting edge. Southlake campus is nice place to work. Work from home encouraged.

    Cons

Hospitality unit is in constant flux with pettiness, backbiting, and internal arrogance. Last few years have seen multiple reorgs in this unit. Several Hospitality execs bring their egos to work each day. Noticeably there is talent leaving this group, or will soon. Work/life balance is just lip service.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

CEO Sam G. should ensure Sabre culture is realigned for this group.
