I have been working at SAP full-time (more than an year)

Pros

- nice people to work with
- good atmosphere
- free lunches (Lunch On Us card, you get $500/quarter and can buy lunch at participating restaurants around downtown)
- good work/life balance

Cons

- small cog in huge machine
- sometimes you work with really old, uninteresting legacy software
- range of software you must learn and fix is very large
- they want you to be able to do everything from manual testing to debugging of highly complex code

    I worked at SAP

    Pros

Very structured approach to business with lots of training. Market leader in its space which provided resources for learning and development.

    Cons

Worked for a company that was acquired. Major change in culture and size.
Difficult to navigate the new company. Our particular line of business was much smaller in scale that it was relative to the predecessor company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ensure that people in acquired companies are challenged with new growth opportunities so that they continue their career growth.
