Solid investment bank with several strong teams

ProsRBS has a lot of strengths despite its terrible reputation. Some of the business units (notably Spot FX) are market leaders. Many of the strongest individuals have stuck it out since the financial crisis.

ConsThere is much government scrutiny over practices within the bank, probably more so than at other institutions. Bonuses are weak.
