I have been working at Regions Financial full-time for less than a year

Pros

great benefits
decent pay relative to competitors

overall its an easy job. the problem is, you are consistently taking phone calls, for several hours a day. You time is monitored during your entire shift. Sales are also very important and since it is easy to get lazy, the management team micro manages.

    Pros

    Benefits are really the only good thing I can come up with

    Cons

    The pay is way too low and not competitive with market standards at all. The goals are unattainable and upper management has employees competing and trying to step on each other just to try to make enough "points" as to not be berated on the daily conference calls.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get your feet off the desk and off the golf course and open your eyes as to what you are doing to this bank! Customers get tired of the turn over and will find another bank that cares about their employees!

    Pros

    Like to help customers with their banking

    Cons

    Have to say customers name 3 times and tell them ours''name plate---name badge and they are in the bank daily. Goals too high, we see same people and they don't need any more products. Like a 3 ring circus some days

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If managers have a good year they are in chairman's club, with big big payouts. Last manager did nothing. for the employes that made it happen. Tellers are the backbone of a branch, reward us with more monetary gains.
