I worked at PwC as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

The company pay fairly well, and have a great staff perks, you are well looked after. I was there for 6 weeks as an intern and spent three days on a training course in a 4* hotel. The appraisal system is also pretty decent, and you get reviewed on your work. I was in audit, and the timing of the internship is such that you are there in their quiet season, and consequently there wasn't enough work for the 5 interns.

    Cons

Its a very schmose-y company, everyone wants to make it to partner, or is only planning on staying until they can get their qualifications and get out, so there is lots of playing golf and backstabbing. That said everyone was nice to your face. Its also very much an 'old boys' network, so if you don't have parents in the industry watch out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A friend warned me before I started the internship that her father used to call it 'Priceslaughterhouse'- watch out!
