“Solid, steady employer with fairly rigid hierarchy”
I have been working at Oracle full-time for more than a year
Pros – - Good salary
- Good benefits
- Many work from home
- Outstanding job security
- Strong executive team, acquisition strategy
- Wide variety of career paths
Cons – - Hierarchy can be rigid
- Some groups struggle with corporate politics
- Not the place to climb the corporate ladder really quickly
- Internal IT support isn't very responsive
Advice to Senior Management – Nicer perks would be appreciated. For example, the Employee Stock Purchase Plan is poor compared to similar programs in the industry.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
