Pros

Excellent training & examples of how to be successful.

Cons

No base salary other than signing bonus.

Advice to Management

The Big Brother program is a great idea but there needs to be a selection process between the new rep & the Big Brothers to connect with similar personalities.

    Pros

Beautiful office, friendly atmosphere, and great training program.

    Cons

It is sink or swim. You are given the training and you have a development specialist, but if you are not doing well, you are not making any money.

    Advice to Management

There should be more stipends for people just starting out or possibly a draw.

    Pros

Exposure to wealth management industry, learning how to pitch/present yourself, setting your own schedule, actual trial run of what it is like to be a financial advisor, commission based, you could make whatever you wanted out of internship. little effort if you wanted to

    Cons

commission based, using your family/relative contacts, trying to sell life insurance to older people as a 20 year old is very hard, no accountability if you didn't want to work.

    Advice to Management

Try to have more of a set program for interns across the country. I know in some offices they had different programs in monitoring interns relative to my office.
