Northrop Grumman is a good company to work for

Network Engineer (Former Employee)

ProsPlenty of training. Travel if you need it. Generous benefit package. Excellent set of colleagues.

ConsGovernment contractor subject to an extra layer of government controls and red tape.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou don't always have to sell the gold plated custom Cadillac. Sometimes the customer wants a Chevy S10. You have to resist government tendency to keep changing the scope of projects under construction. While you will make more money on change orders, in the long run endemic cost overruns destroy political support for funding the programs.

Great co-workers, and lots of opportunities!

Software Engineer (Current Employee) Orlando, FL (US)

I have been working at Northrop Grumman full-time

Pros: Good benefits; lots of opportunities to work on pretty cool stuff that benefits the US military (and others)! If you're willing to relocate,… Cons: - As a defense contractor, NG follows the highs and lows of defense work -- right now defense is shrinking, as seen by lots of… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
