Pros

not bad salary
some time you have enough free time (except summer and winter holiday)
not complex relationship with your colleagues and leader

Cons

too busy in weekend and holiday. It is not a good experience of missing some family activity especially when they are free to planning a party or go for travelling.
You must be super independent, keep your style in teaching and could not follow others.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus more on training for new teachers.

    Pros

OK salary, relatively laid-back environment, many young collegues

    Cons

No bonus. Took 5 or even more years to get promoted. Salaries maintain the same until you get promoted.

    American teachers, beware!

    Pros

Smart and attentive students! I think the students are really bright and this made the job easier to handle!

    Cons

I definitely would not recommend this company, because you are told it will be like Wall Street English or EF where you stay in one office and teach. But literally they force you to run all across town all day to teach their clients all over Beijing and you spend too much time on the road. Thus you cannot even get the full 40 hours per week that you want, because all the time is spent on the road commuting. At the time of this review, American English teachers are getting paid 200 RMB per hour, which is 178 RMB after tax. You only get about 20 hours per week after running around all across town. Beijing is huge. There simply is no way to have a 40 hour week unless you beg your manager to just work in a camp-like setting, but those opportunities are pretty much nada
