Better than other service companies like Infosys, Wipro, CTS

I worked at Mindtree full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    1) Good startup discipline for the freshers to know how a service company works
    2) Good and cutting edge technology learning and have a good scope to learn
    3) The company is good for 0-3 years people and then 15+ experience people with respect to growth and recognition. If you ask about 3 to 15 years experience people, there is nothing interesting here.
    4) Being a service company there are possibilities for onsite opportunities but again case to case based on the project need.

    Cons

    1) Politics is to the core. May be that varies from project to project. But in general POLITICS is dominant!!
    2) Salary hike is a question mark. You will get your salary inline with your experience :P If you got an experience of 7 years, your salary will be 7 lakhs. You can negotiate at the time of joining. After that, never expect a good increment. So whatever you get at the time of joining, negotiate to the best.
    3) Recognition and promotion is fairly possible only if you impress your management by out of the box activities like praising your boss, always say your boss is the best and keep exposing and marketing your boss. In simple, impress your manager in all the ways as much as possible :)
    4) No work comfort like Work From Home, Flexi time working, Dress code. The dress code is strict and if you go in jeans or t-shirt during Mon-Thursday then you will be asked to buy a shirt in Mindtree store and change it immediately. Strict login-logout punch monitoring.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reduce your process and politics to make more user friendly environment indeed have a good grievances cell to address employee's concern.
