Pros

A good opportunity to start in sales. A sales role for beginners and re-nound award winnin g training and products. Altogether a good wee number!

Cons

There wasn't many apart from an expensive canteen, however, that's the case everywhere these days! The toilets can be a bit smelly too but I'm a guy. Couldn't speak for the ladies.

    I have been working at Manpower UK

    Pros

    Line management are supportive and willing to help. Able to set my own working schedule as long as I get my work done. Not chained to my desk which is a big plus.

    Cons

    It's difficult to sometimes reach out for help from other areas of the business. Unless you get the opportunity to travel and network, you will find it hard to make contacts outside your immediate working location. It's also frustrating not being able to speak to the person you want to without going through various levels of management first.

    Technology is awful. We need massive investment in providing systems fit for purpose.

    Benefits and salary are below what would be expected.

    Internal communication and the intranet is poor.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Improve internal communication with employees and invest in technology to allow us to do our work faster and more efficiently. Review benefits in order to increase staff retention. Create more networking opportunities for staff to meet and talk to one another.
