Strategic team not thinking forward enough. Try to over complicate things

Low cost and simple are your market advantages, stop trying to over complicate things. Also concentrate on customer service.. ITS NOT JUST A CALL CENTRE..

    I worked at Lebara full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Fast paced entrepreneurial environment; Opportunities to take on responsibility quickly and be in charge of implementing major initiatives that have a direct impact on the profitabilty of the company.

    Cons

    A weak Executive management team leading to poor direction from the top with a lack of a clearly defined strategy and implementation plan on delivering to the company's goals.
    Lack of ability to deal with the direct competition in the marketplace, with little innovation being shown in the past 12 months to address a declining market-share.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    A greater culture of trust in the employee base needs to be provided.
    Consideration should be given to a new Executive team, and a relocation of the head-office (currently London) to allow for a new approach to how the business is run.

    Pros

    Great colleages, beautiful offices and good location

    Cons

    Poor pay
    Limited real advancement
    Very disorganised and uninformed management
    Very low moral
    High volume of work
    High staff turnover but high retention of poorest performers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get some training in effective operational management and basic business knowledge of effective cost cutting
