I worked at Jawbone full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Everyone you know will ask you for free product.

    Cons

It's like a snobby elite club of jocks. Your work won't be appreciated, and there is always a new bar that the executives want you to meet .

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop bringing up basketball references in our meetings.

    I worked at Jawbone

    Pros

great experience, good people, awesome product, good financial backers, opportunity for huge growth, nice work environment, generous stock options, start up experience

    Cons

long hours, little recognition, chaotic environment, no feedback on performance, very reactionary management style, lots of politics for a small company

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Establish a good strategic plan and direction and share it with the employees. Most activity is uncoordinated and the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing.
