I worked at J.P. Morgan full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Lots of resources, smart people, inspring leadership. Collaborative culture. Many women promoted.

    Cons

Can be bureaucratic, large company so hard to know who to call when.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to spend more time with junior employees to find out what is going "right" and "wrong" for clients. Also, the culture doesn't feel as mobile as its advertised!

I have been working at J.P. Morgan full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

If you have a high drive to work, you will move up quickly, and if you network effectively, you can easily become one of the more well known employees in the site

    Cons

Sometimes it seems as though management practice extreme favoritism. Lots of work goes without recognition.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to employees doing work in roles temporarily, and imagine how they feel when they end up training someone to replace them when they have to go back to their original (lower) role
