“Great work atmosphere, solid leadership”
Current Employee – been working at Iowa State University
Pros – Lots of pride in working for a great institution. Benefits have remained solid even through tough economic/budgetary times.
Cons – Career development and advancement opportunities for staff members are lacking.
Advice to Senior Management – The university is too polite in the way it positions itself. It's probably just the Midwestern humility but we need to assert ourselves more in the marketplace. We're better than what we let on.
