Former Employee – worked at Interval International full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – As a developer at interval you have exposure to most of the new java technology stack and frameworks from Java Spring Framework to working on Grails... Its a full enterprise stack w backend legacy connectivity w also a new backend ORM solution w middle tier web services as well as a frontend MVC with all the tech buzzwords in java you can think of. Its a great place to work whereas you may get remote capabilities, many vacation days off, resort benefits and more... It may be a place where you get complacent and comfortable eventually... So try to keep on top of your game and you will do fine.
Cons – Sometimes management forgets to promote, reward, show value, motivate, help grow and recognize those loyal to the business... They dont mean to, but it happens as they have many things to attend to due to the company being a publicly traded company.
Advice to Senior Management – Remember to cherish what you have and make a growth plan for those that embrace the company. As you once were at the beginning, help those achieve success to the top.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
