“Big disappointment - think twice before taking a job at Informatica!”
Current Employee – been working at Informatica
Pros – Benefits are good and time off is encouraged
Solid Products - Core data integration products are best of breed
Reasonable pay
Cons – People have been with the company far too long. Have lost touch with reality. DEAD WOOD!
Good ole boy network. Very difficult to assimilate coming in from outside.
Some sr. level mangement is incompetent and out of touch.
No clear vision from the top. Seems cold and detached. (ALL ABOUT NUMBERS!)
Advice to Senior Management – You need to bring in top talent and give folks a chance to succeed. Way too much dead wood in the organization. Most of these people don't have a clue as to how to accelerate growth. Marketing pitch is old and antiquated. Just saying you are a market player doesn't mean you are. Have a vision and execute!
