Former Employee - Sales Manager in Bethesda, MD (US)

I worked at IBM full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Lots of opportunity for growth great foundation

    Cons

Lower than average pay, too many average or below average workers allowed to collect a paycheck. It is difficult to manage out underperformers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reward loyaly. Your long term staff is penalized through lower pay, you do not reward commitment and hard work. People with proven track records of success are making 25-30% less than unknown new hires.
