Not much projects, which mean that after a certain project you will do a routine work

    Pros

    Great brand, large faithful base of accounts, reliable technology, global reach, extensive channel partnerships with a long history of innovation in the market place

    Cons

    Constant change in management, go to market strategy and product mix has impacted HP's ability to be successful in the market place. Competitors are taking advantage of HP's inability to convey an clear and consise message to its channel partners and their respective clients.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Change is constant in technology but it needs to be managed better to maintain confidence in the market place. Do what you say, say what you do! The market needs a clear and consistant message.

    Pros

    -Work independently
    -Better pay than most of other companies
    -lots of opportunities to move to different positions
    -good work culture
    -Facilities are well maintained

    Cons

    -The performance evaluation method is ambiguous
    -Roles get to be monotonous
    -Not a lot of contact with top management
    -vacation times are shortened because of Christmas shutdown

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Review the performance evaluation system. The roles in the job description are ambiguous and since a lot of the work is done remotely it almost seems that the managers decide your acting without analyzing your work in depth. There are so many people on each team that sometimes only a few are privileged with a K or P+ and if you are nt one of those, moving forward in the company gets to be complicated
