I have been working at Harvard University full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Stress-free, loads of benefits and value-added incentives, relaxed work schedules and flexible time, great for working mothers or for those that have another side business or focus going. People do not work overtime except for a few times a year depending on the academic calendar schedules.

    Cons

Lower salaries, complacence, things may get into a routine, sheltered from real world competitiveness.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give bonus incentives and value added projects to help keep staff engaged.
