    Pros

Good company to do an internship at. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Gave me a good taste of what to expect in the industry. Got to work in a number of different areas such as structural, civil and transport.

I have been working at HDR full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The company has plenty of work. The people is nice and very experienced. Excellent benefits and opportunities to be part owner.

    Cons

Management is not that great and is mainly lead by men. Most of the office principles across the offices are from Omaha (where the company's headquarter's is located). Career advancement is not an easy task; it is extremely political.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get to know the people. Go to the trenches and care for people not just utilization and the bottom line. You will learn what great and smart people the company has.
