Pros

Abundant Opportunities to excel, ideal place to build a well recognized professional experience base and global footprint

Cons

Need to work through a multiple layer decision making process, which is typical of most large organizations

Advice to Management

We tend to undersell our technology/products and let the competition take the initiative away from us

    Pros

Great coworkers, no micromanagement and the ability to act independently from management in making own decisions. respectful work environment at all times.

    Cons

Stingy with vacation time, no time off, sick days are held against you. Not a very good work life balance.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, stop the nepotism, and pull your own weight instead of dumping major projects on lower level employees.

  2. Frustrating for a young person that wants to be rewarded and regarded based on his work and results.

    Pros

It's a company in which one can easily work a lifetime and retire, if that's want you want to. Team work and cooperation is the common practice, as employees tend not to compete with eachother.

    Cons

If you are the type of person that think that has a special talent or likes to work hard in order to get promotions or rewards, GM (España) will be of outmost frustration. There is no carreer planning and most of the time your promotion or career paths depends on somebody else's retirement.

    Advice to Management

Take into consideration younger people and do not take their staying for granted. A serious career planning, rewards, and special bonuses for a well done job could help keep talented workers in.
