“Great company”
Former Employee – worked at Genentech full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Culture of focussing on unmet needs, smart co-workers, great benefits (including on-site child care and slightly discounted cafeterias), and good career mobility
Cons – Fair number of layers of bureaucracy have developed over the last 5+ years and unclear if the success of pipeline can match the last 10 years of amazing history
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
