I have been working at GCS

Pros

Paid government holidays. They're a subcontractor, so everyone thinks you work for a big company (primary contractor), but you don't.

Cons

Poor pay. Low tuition reimbursement (3500/yr). They're a subcontractor, so everyone thinks you work for a big company, but you don't.

Only way to get a raise is to change jobs.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give people raises as incentives to keep doing their job well.

Otherwise, people are always on a learning curve, and not performing as well as they could.

    I have been working at GCS full-time

    Pros

    The company is a "body shop" so they don't have much staff, they provide workers to other companies as sub contractors.

    The people are good overall, the corporate group is easy to work with and do a good job.
    The benefits are solid overall. Medical is good, but 401(k) is only ok. They put a flat 2% above your salary, but no match. Salary is good overall. Vacation is good. Sick time and vacation are lumped together so you functionally get an extra week of vacation.

    Cons

    No cohesion. You rarely get to know any actual GCS employees apart from those on your contract.
    Within GCS itself you don't seem to have anywhere to go upward really.

    I worked at GCS full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    No pros did not like the experience not a nice environment

    Cons

    Mandatory overtime not enough time for a family and a dirty work place

    Clean up the place and appreciate ur employees more
