Pros

Pay well - competitive across any industry
Treat you well - Employee respect is unparalleled
Job satisfaction is great
Plenty of resources and Non-stop learning
Ability to change jobs with out changing employer
Work for a top Financial Services firm with stable track record
Genuinely care about customers and you

Cons

Bureaucracy can disappoint you since company is too complex to navigate and too many ticketing systems and teams get involved. Some very simple things can take months to get done. Regardless though i think it is still a better company to work for.

I have been working at Fidelity Investments full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Many firms won't give you a salary while they sponsor you to get your broker's license- Fidelity does and also provides a very thorough study course. Supports employees immensely. Love the people- great environment. You might think call center and think of Office Space, but it's nothing like that. So much fun. Lots of opportunities for promotions and bonuses.

    Cons

Doesn't pay the highest, but when combined with all the benefits and bonuses, I think it's worth it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Would love if the 5% pay bump in salary for promotions could be increased.

I worked at Fidelity Investments full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Continuous improvement both technically and professionally is one of the basis-es of employment. FI holds all employees, business partners, vendors, and contractors accountable to the highest ethical standards. Management is diverse, but most will provide defined expectations to give their employees the ability to improve and grow. FI provides decent compensation to their employees. The work environment is great = great people, quality professionals.

    Cons

Management expects proof of ability over word. This means if you are being considered for a promotion, such an employee is given the ability to prove their abilities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be mindful of employees and managers who have not progressed in more than 5 years (look at responsibilities versus titles). Too many in the same positions or performing responsibilities over the last 10 years causes extreme favoritism, gender biases, and looses the company assets.
