“It was a good job while in college and paid better over minimum wage!”
Former Employee – worked at Ferrellgas Partners
Pros – Staring pay was $10.00 p/h while minimum wage was around $8.00. Part time employees still get all bennefits including paid time off. Fairly easy work with little supervision. Family style work place.
Cons – Smelly, lots of repetitive work that can get boring. Lots of lifting and work in the elements, alot of time alone and no real praise for puttign in the extra effort it is just expected. Spent alot of time on superficial projects that didn't make much difference.
Advice to Senior Management – Give employees more feedback on work performance and spend more time making the work place better then making it look better.
