Pros

The pay is decent, and the company is actually makign money for the parent company, Alliance Data.

Cons

You are just another number and promotions, if any, take months to be cleared.

Advice to Management

Life is not just about work, and you should value your own employees as much as your clients.

    Pros

Amazing, talented co-workers. Incredible flexibility allowed to help with personal life/work balance.

    Cons

Under-resourced at times, can be very demanding. Even in these cases, my personal experience has been that the people who put in the extra hours and effort receive the recognition they deserve.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

    Pros

They'll hire you because the turnover is so high.

    Cons

Projects are over-sold to clients with outrageous claims of competence but the truth is projects are understaffed. Management cares nothing about people despite 'work/life balance" claims. 60-80hr weeks are not unusual. Relationship managers not technical and, since it is a sales/marketing company, over-promise. Please the client at all costs (which really means cover for our stupidity and gross inability to properly staff a project) is the norm. Managers incapable of growing their staff and management of career paths is boiled down to length of service, not capability.

    Advice to Management

Fire your Relationship managers; promote competent people, not those who've been there for a long time; introduce the concept of staff management as a real job not an addendum to a job description; break up the good old boys network of those who cover for each other because they both are poor leaders. Hell, just fire all management and start over with fresh blood.
