Conditions working for EchoStar

Senior Engineer (Former Employee)

ProsOn the Job Training. Free Dish Network, Exposure to Video compression and uplink technoligy. 4x10 hr work weeks

ConsBelow industry wages. Slow advancement, Below average medical plans. No support from Sr. Management for employees.

Advice to Senior ManagementMy advise to management is to hire good employees and work to retain them by providing competitive wages, benefits, and advancement possibilities. If you treat your employees well they will respond w/ dedication to your service and customers. The feeling amongst employees is that management cares more about the equipment then them.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
