Current Employee - Delivery Expert in Denver, CO (US)

I have been working at Domino's part-time (more than an year)

Pros

The hours are extremely flexible and can work around a student's schedule or another Job. 90% of the employee's are happy to work for the company and work well with other employee's and that reflects on the level of customer service.

Cons

Assistant managers don't make that much money and in most cases are working more hours weekly than GM's. It takes a while for things to trickle down from Corporate like updating Mileage for Driver's.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be more ways for insider's and driver's to get ideas and or thoughts up to corporate. I think a lot of the time things are brought up to immediate supervisors and that's as far s it goes.

    I worked at Domino's part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

They have you learn a bit of everything, every employee is pretty much required to learn to do everything in the store. I learned management, sales, customer service, and food service.

Teaches a great work ethic that has been popular with my more recent white collar employers.

    Cons

Low pay, lurks near minimum wage.

Unreliable hours, often asked to clock out when business is slow.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on turnover. The little things (including regular little raises) would go a long way. Make your employees happy; it takes a lot more training than you'd expect to work for this company, and you waste all of your human capital as soon as you finish creating it.
