very long hours management loves to constantly critizise, belittle, humiliate you, very phony people the only way to get ahead is if you are a favorite have to put up with unhappy guests & take their abuse the pay is poverty wages

I worked at Disney Parks & Resorts part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

They provide you with good benefits, competitive pay, and oppertunities to promote are there, you just have to want them. You can also transfer easily from one department to another if you would like a change of scenery.

    Cons

You work ridiculous amounts of hours, depending on where you work you may have 10 different costumes to wear. At least within the department I worked in workplace politics were heavy, and they could screw a person over. There are lots of managers within a single department, which is bad because you may have each of them telling you something different (which does happen)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Talk with other managers about what you tell cast members and make sure that your on the same page.
