Good benefits
People work hard
Lots of technology

Cons

Infrastructure is lacking to support employees - all the spending goes toward customers
Executives fight with one another and it negatively impacts lower level productivity.

Create one vision and execute.

    I have been working at DIRECTV full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Cutting edge software, open door policy, very positive work environment, very focused on safety and overall top cuatomer satisfaction.

    Cons

    Supervisor and management level pay is somewhat lacking. However technician pay has increased in several areas over the past few years which is a great thing considering the tech force is the daily face of DTV as a whole. The supervisor and manager pay should follow suit as we are the ones directing cultural change in our markets.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Work on more levels of pay for the techs, especially the ones who wants to stay techs. There simply needs to be a more progessive structure.

    Pros

    Great benefits. Great stability if you can keep you attendance and metrics in check. Even better monthly incentive bonuses if you are good at your job.

    Cons

    Politics. Can be tricky to move up.
