Current Employee – been working at Colgate-Palmolive full-time for more than 8 years

Pros – Colgate has excellent employee programs and is very well run. Colgate is slow moving, but consistent and rewards hard work. Colgate people generally want to do the right thing and are seasoned

Cons – Colgate is hierarchical, slow to innovate and people are stretched very thin. Cost saving is valued above quality at times. Passion is not valued at Colgate. There are a lot of empty suits that move ahead by giving the semblance of competance

Advice to Senior Management – Need to focus on changing the old guard and the top down approach. It is a bit stifling and does not really allow for change or creativity. Where are the women?
