City of Calgary Employee Review

Former Employee – worked at City of Calgary full-time for more than 10 years

Pros – Pretty well can make your job into what you want. If you need change this is a prefect place to keep trying different careers.

Cons – Compensated equally whether you do a good or bad job. No ABILITY for recognition other than a pretty lame reward recognition program.

Advice to Senior Management – It would be nice if all levels and different staff were able to attend conferences and have access to perks. The same people travel and go to the conferences. It would be wonderful if you could only go to a conference once each five years and each person that attended had to present all information learned back to their home unit.
