I have been working at Cerner full-time for more than 8 years

Pros

Compensation for some positions was increased dramatically this last review cycle. There's good opportunity for advancement. Business is booming at Cerner.

Cons

The job can be a real pressure cooker-- extremely stressful for some positions. Because of Cerner's rapid growth, there are many inexperienced associates. Associates are generally expected to make Cerner their top priority in life.

I worked at Cerner full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

They are concerned with their employees physical well being. Headquarter campus provides gym benefits and on site clinic.

    Cons

Expect a lot out of their employees as far as number of hour worked. Sometimes this seems to be more important than personal life.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When "listening" to your employees when they say they have too much on their plate, take heed and don't passively penalize them for being honest.
