I worked at Capital One full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly coworkers nice building free checking account

    Cons

In the customer service role you have 3 minutes to handle customer concerns. Which is not long enough when answering the concerns of the customer. They often cancel your scheduled breaks due to call volume. It is almost impossible to schedule a day off . The quality team is unorganized and does not collaborate with the rest of the team.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

focus on doing right by the customer it makes it easier on the reps

I have been working at Capital One as a contractor (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Only the pay nothing else

    Cons

Everything. Difficult and lazy staff, bloated with process, too many managers doing nothing. Contractors are overworked and abused.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

get a clue, look at the money you are wasting on people that don't do anything. treat your contractors better they are after all the only ones doing any work around there.
