“Initially rewarding, however the last few years, micromanaging has become the norm”
Current Employee – been working at Avis Budget full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Managers get a free car to drive; You can move up the management ladder IFyou are willing to relocate frequently
Cons – The "old boy network" is still existence; Some relics in management keep company from moving forward; little family/work balance.
Advice to Senior Management – Streamline and focus. Too many "new" processes or projects being rolled out without the resources and manpower being in place; Instead of achieving excellence in a few areas, managers are forced to resort to being "fire fighters" with a emphasis on short term
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
