I have been working at AT&T full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Very stable. Room to grow. Reliable. Real problems to solve. Still one of the best places if you want to work for one company for 20+ years

    Cons

Conservative when it comes to tech adoption. Very similar to a government job when it comes to raises/promotions. Doesn't get rid of people easily, so team members are usually not the best and brightest. Beurocratic

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

As an employee? Stop caring so much about the shareholders and pay more attention to your employees. As a shareholder? Keep doing what you're doing and don't forget to keep raising that dividend.

It would also be nice to trust employees a bit more and let them fail more often if you want to really go back to being 'innovative'.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
