I have been working at AT&T full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Discount on services is a great benefit. Good people with good work ethic. The benefits are industry standard. Culture has made strides in the last few years. There are many developmental resources if you have time to seek them out.

Cons

Because of the size of the company, if you aren't identified as a leader with potential, you will have a hard time getting a promotion. Work/life balance could be better.

    good starting pay, its a job

    Cons

    upper management is stuck in their ways and expect you to be a robot and sound like a robot, for tech support there is a top out in pay and once you get there you can't make any more money, In tech support we aren't even considered tier 1 so we don't make any where near the money that we should be making. turn over rate is horrible.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    treat your employees like people and not robots and that scripts are horrible and not made for great calls.
