Worst company to work for !!!

Software Engineer (Former Employee) Menlo Park, CA (US)

ProsSome coworkers were friendly and easy to work with.

ConsMicromanagement was common practice there. Employees were not valued. Instead they were blamed for upper management's missteps. Technology was outdated and you didn't have opportunity to learn and explore cutting edge technology. After working there for a number of years and you would find yourself stuck with the company and had no markable skills. Benefits were below average in the industry. Only 12 days of vacation to start with.

Advice to Senior ManagementLearn more people management skills and learn to respect others.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Conswork overload, no direction, too vendor dependent, management wants the little people to lead them!

    vice presient

Vice President (Former Employee) Arlington, VA (US)

Prosi thought it was fun to be in the financial services industry particularly with a company which valued cutting edge technology to deliver innovative products and services. and who doesn't love the ETRADE baby?

Conscorporate politics. I'm sure politics play a role at the top of all major companies but it gets even worse when top management is in fear for their job. the 2012 exercise with a management consultancy caused many headaches.

Advice to Senior Managementfocus on employee morale!

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
