I have been working at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Great place to work! The management staff here works hard for the employees. It feels really good to work for managers who are all on the same page. The teamwork creates a nice work environment.
Cons – The workload is heavy for most positions.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to keep upper management on the same page! This has not always been the case here before.

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time
Pros – I believe the company is a great platform for recent graduates to launch their careers. As all big companies there is a lot of diversity between department in regards to standards and perks.
Good sound training and opportunity to move laterally withing the compay
Cons – DPSG is not the exception, with the IT department and customer support team being very understaffed and overworked. There is great management in the finance department nonetheless the opportunities for growth are limited and based on politics. The salary I would say is industry average but def not towards the upper quartile.

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time for less than a year
Pros – Great benefits. Most supervisors work pretty hard and long hours. The company is constantly looking for ways to improve.
Cons – Evening shift is 4pm to whenever the production line has been restocked (2-4AM-ish). The company rarely promotes from within.
Advice to Senior Management – Add a 3rd shift so you can cut back on the overtime you always complain about.

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group as a contractor for less than a year
Pros – opportunity to work in a very fast paced environment and gain some job experience
Cons – very strict, very demanding, one person doing two peoples jobs, but you get to learn to work in a fast pace environment and could be a good training for the future. some co workers are mean. dont care about your personal problems and they dont give a lot of chances for mistakes. and dont ever be late
Advice to Senior Management – ease up on the pressure on employees, make it a more comfortable working environment.

I have been working at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time for more than a year
Pros – Corporation, but with a more friendly/relaxed environment. Regular yearly increases (small) for good performance. Certain teams are fun, just depends.
Cons – Slow promotion/growth. Still a corporation so IT and HR have terrible service. People have been there for many years, are comfortable, and don't leave.

I worked at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time for more than a year
Pros – The people that work there are extremely talented and smart
The company has a great culture and fun working environment - work hard/play hard
Discounted soft drinks!!
Cons – Some of the managers lack adequate people skills...i.e - don't know how to treat people and appreciate/recognize hard work or hard efforts by the employees.
Advice to Senior Management – Make sure that a "manager of others" has the skills interact appropriately with people who report to them. DPSG is not a consulting firm, even though some former consulting people that work there think that it is...

I have been working at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Great place to work, easy work. usually Mon -Fri. Summer months can get real busy, insurance is pretty good. Lots and lots of training, which has come in real handy at times.
Cons – No room for advancement. Summer months are 12 to 15 hours a day with no overtime,no comp days, no nothing...
Advice to Senior Management – Give bonuses to the Supervisors, and bring up the salary to current levels. It would be nice to meet
upper management once in a while

I have been working at Dr Pepper Snapple Group full-time for more than a year
Pros – I enjoy what I do and I like my co-workers.
Cons – This place cares nothing for their employees. I've seen too many people get fired over the smallest things. Even though we're not Union, If you don't have senority or service date your basically an on call worker. Is this how it is at all DPSG facilities? I'll call you when I need you and send you home whenever? What a joke...
Advice to Senior Management – We all know times are hard. Now's the time to show compassion for your workers, so don't treat your full time employees like temps to get that extra bonus at the end of the year.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
