Former Employee – worked at Deutsche Bank full-time for more than a year
Pros – Its a big brand name and pays decent compensation. Better for those who want to work less and network more.
Cons – Difficult to achieve self-respect there. Till the time results are satisfactory, nobody bothers to look at right or wrong.
Advice to Senior Management – Vision of a great upper management has got blurred at the hands of local authorities
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Former Employee – worked at Deutsche Bank full-time
Pros – It's a major bank and therefore a good name on your resume. You are left alone to do your work - contact with managers and team members is minimal, it's entirely possible to go the whole day without speaking to anyone.
Cons – If the manager doesn't like you then you will go nowhere. The bonus pool is split between a few of the managers favorites, and has nothing to do with rewards for good work.
Promotion never happens - they always hire new people in from outside, so the only way to move up is to move on.
managers shout at employees. It's pretty much the opposite of a friendly fun place to work.

Former Employee – worked at Deutsche Bank full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – I liked working with the sales staff. They were generally a lot of fun and had high energy.
Cons – The environment in the regulatory area was unpleasant. There was a lot of favoritism and nepotism. Most of the people who got promotions were all friends.
Advice to Senior Management – Everything starts from the top. If the top is corrupt don't expect the workers to be any better

Former Employee – worked at Deutsche Bank full-time for more than a year
Pros – - Stable work environment
- Global outreach for personal development and career options
- Interesting people to work with
Cons – - Stifling work environment sometimes : pseudo innovation rewarded rather than actual improvements
- Lethargic on technology changes
- In India, DB has a very nepotistic and "arse-licky" culture, especially in the back offices
Advice to Senior Management – - Hire younger energetic people with good ideas
- Give people enough for them to be vested in actual improvements but not long enough for them to be regarded as indispensable or rulers of their kingdoms
- Document processes more effectively and be more transparent on performance metrics with all reports. Especially in cases where performance cannot be simply measured but must be gauged by VOC, etc
