Pros – Diverse, fast paced company. Many different areas of the Property sector covered. Capita Group provides a secure back stop
Cons – Not a people organisation. Driven totally by the current months numbers, to the detriment of long term strategy. This is a constant frustration to many.
Advice to Senior Management – Long more to the medium/long term.

Pros – Good office location in central London, great team and people to work with, good culture, flexitime and good work life balance.
Cons – My personal experience: Pay was slightly below average, projects were a bit mundane i.e. lots of civil design work for property developers or flood study type work for the Environment Agency. Note that this is a large consultancy so others experiences may be very different.
The company does very little work outside of the UK with the exception of some work in the UAE. Certainly not a truly international consultancy.

Pros – Some clever, bright people within the company with drive and determination. It's a relaxed environment to work in and the company contributes to a good work / life balance.
Cons – The management aren't on the same wavelength as the workers. Redundancies has seen the best of the staff leave and those that are left looking over their shoulders. Capita Symonds are bringing in new staff at associate level and above on reported huge salaries yet not looking after the employees below them. Promotions come without pay rises and staff are again starting to look elsewhere.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your staff! There are some good people with some good ideas but please take note of them.
