    Pros

There is a lot of flexibility to work either from home or at the client site. 4 weeks of Time off.

    Cons

The budget for Training to enhance your skills is scarce. One has to get trained on their own. Personal Internal team building is a challenge because of the kind of business we are in (Geographical spread).

    Pros

Capgemini has a great workforce with intelligent, talented resources. They allow and encourage you to move up at your own pace. They bid on challenging projects that really motivate their teams to deliver difficult implementations.

    Cons

Work life balance can be difficult with traveling and other demands faced on critical IT projects. Difficult to meet sales KPIs while also meeting delivery/billed utilization metrics.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest in growing resources. Take a more personal interest in mentoring the younger generation.

    Pros

Lots of travel if you enjoy traveling. Good pay and benefits.

    Cons

Projects can be long so if you do not like the location of a project you can be stuck there. Management can road block advancement if you are in a small service line. It's hard to advance or get training, you have to find the right people in the company to find that information. If you do not live in a city where there is a Capgemini office, it is very difficult to connect with management.

    As time goes by...

    • Career Opportunities
Former Employee - Senior Manager  in  Atlanta, GA (US)
Former Employee - Senior Manager in Atlanta, GA (US)

    Pros

Starting out, I think they have a lot to offer. New (especially campus) hires can get a lot of good experience and eventually opportunities to grow.

    Cons

As time goes by, one starts feeling taken for granted. Training becomes more and more your problem; issues you bring up you're told to just "handle it".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They don't read these, and if they did they wouldn't take action on them anyway, so no advice.

    Recommends
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
