    Good intern experience

Manufacturing Engineer (Former Employee) Burlington, IA (US)

ProsGood hands on projects for certain interns, but not all depending on the department you are in. The town was very nice and welcoming.

ConsSome interns sat at their desk all day, not really experience what the facility is like. Not all management was nice.

Great experienced where I have been able to learn a lot as a intern.

Marketing Product Manager (Former Employee) Le Plessis-Belleville (France)

ProsLot of work to do everywhere because the company is not very well organized! You easily something out of your scope and therefore learn about the whole company's activity. People are great and friendly.

ConsNo career opportunities what so ever (at least in France). Senior management does not have a clear strategic view of the future, it's more about dealing with the emergencies and getting quick cash. No long term vision and no company values.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry to manage on a longer term vision.

Expect to work on several initiatives at the same time and exposure to several business sectors

Commodity Manager (Current Employee) Racine, WI (US)

ProsA lot of spend categories and mix of services. There is opportunity to work on high profile projects.

ConsThere is an opportunity for more training with new recruits.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    It's a man's world.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Racine, WI (US)

ProsSolid Benefits. If they ever downgrade or eliminate these, people will leave in droves. Once you're in, you're in.

ConsNo COLA or any other kind of raises. Must move up and around to increase salary. Much more opportunity for men than women. Terrible onboarding, training, orientation. Little to no support on where to find, who to see, how to do.

Advice to Senior ManagementLook up the REAL meaning of "meritocracy."

Solid company with a positive future.

Technical Support Engineer (Current Employee) Burr Ridge, IL (US)

ProsCNH definitely tries to take care of their employees. They provide great benefits and a lot of opportunities. The company is very large with a lot of room to move around and find the right role for you.

ConsChanges are happening constantly, which can be difficult when working on projects that suddenly get dropped or working with people who suddenly switch roles and break communication. Being such a large company, it's easy to get lost in the fold if you're not working to find the next step or network with people.

Advice to Senior ManagementInvest more in discussions with your employees on where they are, how they are doing, where they would like to get, and how to get there.

    Great experience overall

Systems Engineer (Current Employee) Burr Ridge, IL (US)

ProsI got opportunities to work at actual projects rather than typical intern work
    Company provided excellent accommodation facilities

ConsCurrently available information isn't well organized and so a big chunk of your time and effort goes into acquiring lost information and deciphering incomplete information

Scared Management, the grass may look greener at this company because it's organically fertilized

Director (Former Employee) Burr Ridge, IL (US)

    ProsGood salary
    Competitive benefits
    Interesting global workforce
    Very well positioned industry

ConsAbsolutely no career management, HR may try and they talk a good game, but top execs make all the moves on politics and whimsy
Highly political with most management trying to avoid or get close to top execs
    Management cannot be challenged
Most managers terrified of their boss
Erratic succession execution driven from the top
    Constant cost cutting

Advice to Senior Managementyou have some talent left, listen

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
