Meh.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Burger King part-time for less than a year

Pros-Good first time job
-Always something to do
-A lot of hours for a part time job
-Willing to work with your schedule

Cons-Very limited training
-High turnover rate
-Customers always have something to complain about
-They squeeze every minute of your shift out of you

Advice to Senior Management-Improve new hire training
-Relax on exact sandwich building ex: The ketchup has to go on before the mustard. Who's going to know/check something like that?

I worked at Burger King

ProsNice place to work. Fast Paced environment.

ConsBeing that it was one of my first jobs (I was a teenager) the money wasn't bad. However as an adult I couldn't imagine being able to make a living there. Hopefully the pay has increased tremendously since then.

Advice to Senior ManagementNo advice. Keep up the great work.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

wrong termination

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
Glendale, CA (US)

I worked at Burger King full-time for more than 10 years

ProsMeet some really nice people. Including customers and fellow crew members. It was a job.

ConsVery slow growth, forever to get a raise, no positive feedback, C.A.R.E is a joke.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't just say you C.A.R.E. Show it. We all know that the customer is what makes the business. But don't forget about the little people that make the food and take the orders of the customers to keep them coming back!!!!

Job is a job

Crew Member (Former Employee)
Parma, OH (US)

I worked at Burger King part-time for more than a year

ProsIf you are a people person and like a fast pace environment then this is a good place to work.

ConsAs an older employee, you have to deal with the younger generation of drama and attention grabbers. There is a lot of favoritism, talking behind each others backs, and rules and policies are not enforced uniformly.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep your ears and eyes open to what goes on all around the store. Don't allow the drama kings and queens to run the establishment, only causes chaos.
