    Pros

Work life balance it's good. There is a lot of work for the amount of staff, but overall it balances out with slow periods. The people are great and genius are also great.

    Cons

Understaffed. Disorganized at times. Management can be disconnected at times. so much focus on cost savings bottom line it's hard to pull off a miracle every time.

    Great company

    I worked at Boston Scientific

    Pros

Great company and great culture - everyone was committed to their jobs and willing to go the extra mile. Lots of benefits for employees including an onsite credit union, gym with free classes, day care and great cafeteria.

    Cons

The only downside is that the location is tough if you're used to being in Boston. It's a hike from downtown and there's not much around the Marlborough campus. However, BSC was piloting some initiatives like a coach bus from the city to the campus each day to save commuters hours of driving in traffic.

I worked at Boston Scientific full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Good benefits; good training. Work-life balance is very good. Ability to work from home when needed

    Cons

After being there for 10 years, there were a lot of ups and downs (too many changes), but I think the company is finally on track.

  11.

Better than I expected when I initially started. Moving to R&D was the best decision to get hands on experience.

I have been working at Boston Scientific as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

Smart people to work with. Great benefits. Good for your resume. Real work. R&D has great team of people who has 30+ years experience so if you are young, you might feel little off but if you are willing to learn, it's a great place to start at. As they also pay for school, gym, masters program.

    Cons

Slow paced but it's the nature of medical device. Especially being one of the top med device companys.
