Current Employee – been working at Boston Consulting Group
Pros – Excellent exposure to smart people, great companies and interesting client work. Good training and development. Global network and excellent brand name to have on your resume. Generally nice people who mean well. Fascinating collection of individuals, with quite a bit of diversity for a top firm.
Cons – While the people are nice, the bar is high and it is still an up or out system, although the firm will help you along as much as it can.
Advice to Senior Management – Need to appeal more to the hearts, and not just the minds of employees. Leaders are often great problem-solves but not the best leaders of people.

Current Employee – been working at Boston Consulting Group
Pros – Brilliant people, great training, excellent stepping stone for development.
Cons – Very stressful, long hours, lots of travel, highly volatile experience from case to case.
Advice to Senior Management – Pay at least 50% as much attention to ensuring employees are satisfied after they are hired as when you are recruiting them.
