I worked at Best Buy part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Staff purchases. Great prices on items.

    Cons

Bad management. No training for the job you were hired for. Very poor communication between staff an management.Negative reinforcement. Best Buy managers would rather give bad reviews than train employees to do their jobs properly in the first place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to train staff properly. The mentality seems to be to correct staff members after a minor mistake is made rather than take the time to go through proper procedures first. There seems to be a culture of being reactive rather than being objective.
